December 12 2006 - Duet Impossible
The transmission time for Duet Impossible has been comfirmed for December 24th at 5.45pm on BBC1.
December 11 2006 - Today the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) confirmed Katie Melua as the highest selling European female artist throughout Europe in 2006. Since its release in September 2005, sales of Katie’s second album ‘Piece by Piece’ have passed the three million mark across the continent achieving triple platinum status.
What makes this achievement even more notable is that the record is released on a small independent label, Dramatico Entertainment. In fact, ‘Piece By Piece’ is the only independent record to have applied for and been awarded IFPI platinum status in Europe in 2006.

December 7 2006 - Miss Potter Soundtrack
Dramatico are proud to announce the release of the original motion picture soundtrack to 'Miss Potter', on January 8th 2007. November 24 2006 - Ask Katie!
Don't worry if you've submitted a question for Katie and you're wondering where it is. It's been an amazingly busy couple of weeks and they have been overwhelmed by the response! They are on the case though, and they will bring us the answers as soon as they can!
November 24 2006 - At the World Music Awards last week, a portrait of all the evening's hosts was commissioned by Swarovski Crystal, to be signed and auctioned for charity. Unfortunately Katie's portrait was damaged on the way to Earls Court where the event was taking place, so a replacement was made.
November 24 2006 - It has been confirmed that Katie Melua will be performing at Michael Schumacher's Farewell Gala to celebrate his retirement from Formula One after 16 record breaking seasons at the top. The Gala is hosted by Günther Jauch and will be televised on December 6th on RTL in Germany.

November 17 2006 - It's a busy weekend, as Katie flies to Germany on Saturday for the Stefan Rob television show, followed by a return to Northern Ireland for My Kind Of Music on Radio Ulster.
November 17 2006 - Children In Need
Tonight Katie Melua joins Terry Wogan and a host of stars for BBC's Children In Need night in Belfast. As well as performing her new single 'Shy Boy', Katie is among the guest telephone operatives. So if you call to pledge money for Children In Need, you might just find Katie on the end of the line!
Given the nature of live television the timings are subject to change, but Katie is scheduled to perform some time after 10pm, working the phones from 9pm.
November 16 2006 - On Saturday 18th November at 6pm, VH1 is playing a rundown of the best selling albums in the UK over the last 50 years - Katie Melua's 'Call Off The Search' is now officially the 87th best selling album in the UK since chart records began!

This Wednesday, November 15th, Katie Melua will be performing 'Nine Million Bicycles' at the World Music Awards 2006 at London's Earls Court. For anyone who can receive Channel 4: The event will be televised by Channel 4 on Wednesday November 22nd.
November 12 2006 - Duet Impossible
As a highlight of BBC 1’s prime-time Christmas schedule, legends of yesteryear will be seen performing with today’s stars. Katie sings with her hero Eva Cassidy.
November 12 2006 - Katie takes time out to study. She says, "It is very much something for the future but I will go to university. "I am a bit split between English literature, history and physics."

November 6 2006 - Katie recorded a song for a film called ‘Miss Potter’ about the life of writer Beatrix Potter, played by Renée Zellweger. The film will come out soon.
October 30 2006 - Katie will perform at the World Music Awards in London on November 15.
October 28 2006 - Katie’s next big thing is learning how to parachute on her own. After performing in November and December it's back to the studio in January to start work on her third album.

August 28 2006 - Katie Melua racing driver? Singing star Katie Melua is reported to have shown interest in becoming a racing driver after her involvement in National Motorsport Week. Melua was performing at the Grand Prix Masters event at Silverstone and was treated to a ride in the two-seater Masters demonstration race car.
